EstateSales.Sale is operated by Howe Estate Sales, LLC. We are a full service estate sale company located in the Pasadena, California area. We proudly service the communities around the Pasadena area along with providing liquidation services throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Free Local Pickup 

Free Local Pickup is available in Altadena, CA by appointment only. After you pay for your items you will be able to reserve a pickup time. For questions regarding sale logistics please call Parker Howe, (626) 755-8950.

Please wear a mask when picking up your items and understand you will be responsible for loading any furniture into your vehicle. Please bring help if you are purchasing large or heavy objects. Select smaller items are available for shipping or local delivery.


Rules of the Website

Items are not guaranteed, held or reserved until you reach the order confirmation screen and the system generates an order number for you.

During peak shopping times (when we initially open) it is best if you checkout immediately as the cart hold system may run into errors when too many people are shopping. To expedite the checkout process, we recommend using ShopPay, which will save your credit card information using two-factor authentication.

All items are sold as-is. We will describe all items to the best of our ability but please understand that everything is used (and likely vintage) so there will be some signs of wear. Signs of wear include but are not limited to scratches, marks and tarnishing. Please read all item descriptions and view all photos. Please use the zoom feature on the photos to check for any signs of wear or damage. We will write in the description if there are any chips, cracks or other large signs of wear. No returns or exchanges are permitted. All items sold are final sale.


Sales Tax & Resale Licenses

For all items sold on this website, sales tax will be collected based on the delivery or pickup address. We will not be accepting resale licenses. If you are purchasing an item for resale, please be sure to keep your receipt in your records. The California Department of Tax & Fee Administration has a section on the quarterly tax return where you are able to deduct the sale tax you paid once you sell an item. This is permitted under Regulation 1701, "Tax-paid Purchases Resold." It is fairly easy to do when you file your quarterly taxes, simply look for the "Cost of Tax-Paid Purchases Resold Prior to Use" section of your "Adjustments". You can also call the department's customer service line at 1-800-400-7115 and they can walk you through the steps.



During busy sales, shipping times may vary based on the number of orders received. Please understand we are a small business. If you have any questions about when your item will be shipped out, please send us an email and we will be happy to check the status of your order. If you have a time requirement for your package please let us know and we will find the best way to accommodate you. Additionally, if you would like an expedited shipping service please let us know and we can send you an invoice for the difference. 

If you would like to have an item shipped that is marked "shipping not available" please call us at 626-755-8950 or email us and we can let you know if shipping is possible. In most cases, we can send you an invoice for the shipping cost.

If the website miscalculates the shipping cost and you are charged more for shipping than the actual shipping cost, we will send you a refund for the difference once we pack the item. 

If you would like to change your order from shipping to local pickup, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can modify your order, adjust the sales tax percentage and refund you for any excess charges.
